What you need to know

Most crypto cards advertise a headline cashback rate that only applies after you stake or lock the issuer’s token. On this page we rank cards by the rate you get on day one, with no staking.

Three things decide what you actually earn: the base rate, the monthly cap and the currency the reward is paid in. A 1% card with a €30 cap pays more to a heavy spender than a 2% card capped at €10.

Rewards paid in the issuer’s own token carry price risk. Rewards in a stablecoin such as USDC are easier to value. We show the top-tier rate under each card, but it never changes the order.
