What you need to know
Turkey’s central bank has not allowed crypto to be used directly as a means of payment since 2021. Cards that convert crypto to fiat through a foreign issuer are a different product, but their availability to Turkish residents changes often.
Few of the big EU cards issue here. The cards on this page accept Turkish residents today; most settle in EUR or USD, so every TRY purchase includes a currency conversion. The FX line matters more than cashback.
